
SALES SUPPORT ANALYST
POSITION SUMMARY
The Sales Support Analyst role at Advantage is a self-motivated professional responsible for supporting the Sales teams in creating solutions for our clients and ensuring quality and satisfaction. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with strong communication, analytical, and excellent relationship-building skills. They will interface with sales executives, telecom carriers, clients, and other staff members to gather data, support business cases/return on investment, and ensure the smooth flow of information from Sales to Operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Partner with Sales to build accurate, client-focused pricing solutions, proposals, and Return on Investment models.
- Populate and manage complex pricing spreadsheets, leveraging advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, nested formulas, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Power Query, etc.) to analyze and validate cost data.
- Ensure complete and accurate data entry into Customer Relationship Management and internal platforms (e.g., HubSpot and Liaison).
- Liaise with telecom carriers, clients, and internal departments to collect and verify data.
- Support the development of business cases and track carrier responses for pricing and service details.
- Collaborate on special projects, client invoice reviews, and ad-hoc reporting needs.
- Stay informed on provider updates and attend relevant presentations and meetings.
- Contribute insights that improve operational efficiency and sales processes such as Standard Operating Procedures.
SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
- Proven experience in sales analysis with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multitasking environment.
- Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, complex formulas, financial modeling, data cleansing, conditional formatting, etc.) is mandatory.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Collaborative team player with the ability to influence and coordinate across functions.
- Strong business judgment and organizational abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Driven, self-motivated, and eager to learn and grow professionally.



QUALIFICATIONS
- Business/Sales related field of study or equivalent work experience.
- 1- 5 years’ experience preferably in Pre-Sales tech support position or consultative role in the telecommunications/IT space.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must have the ability to travel at most twice a year.
Advantage provides salary commensurate with experience and achievement. The compensation range for this role is $55,000-70,000 per year.
