Shaw Communications Inc. today announced higher speeds of its Shaw Go WiFi network for customers who have Shaw’s mid- and higher tier Internet plans. Effective immediately customers on these plans will enjoy download speeds that are six times faster at nearly 75,000 Shaw Go WiFi hotspots across Western Canada, with included data that far exceeds cell phone plans.
“At these speeds, customers can expect even better online experiences, including better picture quality, quicker start times and fewer interruptions when streaming services like shomi or Netflix, at home or on the go,” said Chris Kucharski, SVP Consumer, Shaw Communications.
