JUNIOR QUALITY ASSURANCE ANALYST
POSITION SUMMARY
The Junior Quality Assurance Analyst (Junior QA Analyst) at Advantage will be responsible for testing software to ensure that it meets quality standards and requirements. Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager, the Junior QA Analyst will manually test software to ensure it is working as designed and ready for use.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Review and analyze system specifications to ensure high quality and eliminate issues.
• Collaborate with the development team to develop effective strategies and goals.
• Plan and complete performance tests and create detailed reports.
• Manually execute test cases, analyze the results, and document findings.
• Troubleshoot code using complex industry programs to detect low-quality and resource-intensive code.
• Report bugs and errors to the development team.
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
• Collaborate with the development team to develop effective strategies and test plans.
• Perform other related duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Zero to one year of professional experience.
• Knowledge of software and database testing and experience with software development lifecycle, preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise with developers, project managers, and customer support.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, work ethic, ability to work independently, problem-solving ability, effective communication skills, and overall positive attitude.
• Desire to understand and curiosity identify issue within software.
• Ability to document and troubleshoot errors.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail and ability to multi-task while under pressure.
