Global Cloud Xchange (GCX), a subsidiary of Reliance Communications, has filed for bankruptcy protection in a US court after missing payments on its $350 million of 7% bonds that matured in August. GCX has 68,000 subsea kilometers and is integrated with Reliance's domestic Indian fiber, and they connect to 40 key markets worldwide directly via about 160 points of presence and deliver enterprise solutions across 160 countries.

The biggest risk to a European company's cybersecurity is not, as often believed, external hackers and overseas-based virus attacks, but an organisation's own employees. A key finding from the Telstra Cyber Security Report 2019 is that 88 per cent of surveyed European organizations were impacted by unintentional human error in the past year resulting in at least one incident of compromised security, integrity or availability of service. The study surveyed close to 1,300 professionals across 13 countries.
