Under this agreement, Advantage can now offer Convergia’s complete portfolio of voice, data, Internet and Cloud solutions to their global base of clients and partners. Convergia’s fiber optic network spans over 50 countries in four continents, and their full range of services are available in Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Mexico, Peru, Spain, United States, Uruguay and Venezuela.

This interactive Submarine Cable Map depicts active and planned submarine cable systems and their landing stations. Cables shown on the map include international and US domestic submarine cables with a maximum upgradeable capacity of at least 5 Gbps.Selecting a cable on the map projection or from the submarine cable list provides access to the cable’s profile, including the cable’s name, ready-for-service (RFS) date, length, owners, website, and landing points.

Advantage and Digicel Business Sign Partnership Agreement

This agreement allows Advantage to offer Digicel Business’ full portfolio of advanced managed network solutions to their global base of clients and partners. Digicel’s Global Connect platform is a dedicated business-only redundant managed wide area network that covers 23 countries across the Caribbean, Central America and Asia Pacific. The platform is connected by extensive and diverse company-owned undersea cables and includes on-island last mile connectivity in all markets.

PCCW Global, NTT, Amazon Join Forces on Trans-Pacific Network

PCCW Global has come together with consortium members Amazon, Facebook, NTT Communications, PLDT and SoftBank to construct JUPITER, a high-capacity cable system that will connect Maruyama and Shima in Japan with Los Angeles in the USA and Daet in the Philippines, with a target ready-for-service date of early 2020.
